Our mission

Making supplier risk visible and manageable

Supplier risk is not a new problem. But the tools organisations use to manage it have not kept pace with the complexity and velocity of modern supply chains. We built SupplySignal to change that.

The problem that existed before we did

Organisations conducting supplier due diligence were facing a familiar and frustrating pattern. Annual reviews were the norm, not the exception. Manual searches across Companies House, news sources and sanctions registers took hours per supplier. And the results went into spreadsheets that were outdated the moment they were completed.

Meanwhile, the risk environment was moving in the opposite direction. Sanctions lists were being updated continuously. Corporate ownership structures were shifting. News about financial distress, regulatory enforcement and reputational risk was accelerating across digital channels. The gap between what organisations knew and what was actually happening was widening, not closing.

The existing tools were either legacy platforms built for financial services compliance, priced accordingly and requiring specialist training, or generic database products that still required manual workflows to make sense of the data. Neither was designed for the procurement and compliance teams responsible for managing third-party risk across hundreds or thousands of suppliers.

Our values

Substance over surface

Risk management that looks thorough on paper but fails in practice is not risk management. We build tools that surface genuinely material information and filter out the noise, because that is the only version that is useful to a compliance team under real scrutiny.

Designed for the people who use it

Procurement and compliance professionals are not technology specialists. SupplySignal is designed to be immediately usable by a risk analyst on their first day, with no training programme required. Complexity belongs in the engine, not the interface.

Transparency in what we do and do not know

Our data has limits. Public registry data has gaps, news coverage is uneven, and no automated platform can substitute for human judgement on material decisions. We are honest about what the platform provides and what it does not replace.

UK-built for UK and global organisations

We built SupplySignal from the ground up in the UK, with deep Companies House integration and a genuine understanding of how UK procurement and compliance teams operate. That foundation extends to organisations monitoring global supply chains.

Built with a clear purpose

If you are a procurement or compliance professional who has outgrown manual supplier risk processes, we would like to show you what we have built.
